Europe 2020 2022
This is my “scrapbook” of my International Women’s Circle 2020 trip to Europe. Mala, Lu, Susanné and Roxanne- Mary was supposed to go- but health reasons kept her home. We all met when our partners were doing post docs(residency in my case) at Stanford in 1991. These women were some of my best friends when we were at Stanford. We sort of kept in touch when we moved away and on to real jobs and families…. but we reconnected as our children grew up. We had a reunion in Palo Alto in 2017 and then Seattle in 2019. That was when we planned the “IWC Europe here we come”- trip to Europe for September of 2020…..Covid interrupted our plans, we finally got to go in October of 2022. The photo below is from a Camping Trip somewhere in California Mala, Roxanne, Mary, Susanne, Lu 1994. This was the scene of the infamous s’mores incident.
